One year after we met, Jessie proposed at the restaurant where we had our first date. He had made arrangements with the restaurant manager and staff to have the an entire section of the restaurant to ourselves. Jessie called me while I was at work and asked me to meet him at Travinia's Italian restaurant at 4:00. We've  had dinner at this restaurant many times so it did not seem unusual for him to ask me to meet him there. When I arrived, the hostess took me to the table where Jessie was waiting. It was the exact same table where we had our first date. When I sat down I noticed a little box sitting on an empty plate. He stated, "Don't say anything. I just want to tell me how much you have changed my life". He proceeded to explain how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. That's when he told me to open the box that was sitting on the plate. It was empty. When I looked up from the empty box, he was holding a little blue velvet box with the most beautiful ring inside. He stated that he needed to get down on both knees because that is how much he really wanted me to say yes. When he placed the gorgeous ring on my finger,  I heard our song begin to play. The restaurant manager was playing a recording of "You Know That I Love You" and carrying two glasses of champagne. And of course I said yes. We are getting married at sunrise on Makena Surf beach in Maui on May 26th. We plan to spend a glorious 6 day honeymoon, jet skiing, snorkling parasailing and relaxing. 

Jessie and I are sooo excited and we are looking forward to a wonderful future together.
